JANUARY 2013 NEWSLETTER

Hi there ladies !

Another year has come and gone.  Amazing how fast the months seem to fly by.   We trust you had a very good holiday and managed to spend some time with your family and friends over the Festive Season.  

We would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one you a VERY HAPPY 2013 and a BIG THANK YOU for all your support and we hope that we continue our relationship this coming year.

Both of us Nutty and Sweet have been scrapping up a storm and already have 2 months worth of kits in advance for you.  This month Sweet M has also created an extra BACK TO SCHOOL KIT for those who have kids returning to school this week.  (Good luck moms !).  February will see a bonus VALENTINES kit too created by Nutty M.. we really want to keep your creative juices flowing !

NOTE:  We are experiencing a bit of a delay with only getting back "into the office" today and waiting for the shipment to be cleared so will start distributing the kits asap.

DIARISE:

We are already planning our Retreats for 2013.

Remember that our Womans Day weekend Retreat will be held over the weekend of 8-11 August 2013.  We hope to see you all there !   Details to be confirmed, but as it is a long way away, you can already start making part-payments to Nutty M to pay it off long before the time.  Contact Mitch at info@thevillagescrapper.co.za to arrange this.

There will also be another smaller and shorter retreat happening earlier this year.  Watch this space for more details  SOON !

DECEMBER KITS

LAYOUT 1:  CHRISTMAS
Created by Sweet M using the Handmade Holiday collection from Echo Park, this layout is perfectly merry for your Christmas memories.  You’ll find joy in creating the fun banner and Christmas tree and then put your sewing skills to use when you add some pizzazz with fabulous stitches.

LAYOUT 2:  SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY
Here Nutty M used the beautiful Gentler Times papers from Paper Loft to create this Heritage inspired layout, however this should not limit you as any pictures would be perfect for this layout and you have a choice of titles to use.  You will have endless fun putting together your clocks, envelopes and flowers – but don’t worry, you don’t have to make these flowers, they are all ready for you to add to your layout.

All kits can be ordered by contacting Nutty at info@thevillagescrapper.co.za and remember, these 2 kits are a package deal at a mere R290-00 for both double layouts. (excluding delivery and bulk kit ordering).

NOVEMBER KITS

LAYOUT 1:  SUGAR AND SPICE
Created by Nutty M.. this layout uses the fantastic new range of papers by SCRAP COLLECTIONS called Hippie Dreams.. you will be the first ladies to be playing with this range as it is really new to the shops.  
Very girly with Candi Dots and heats, you are sure to find the perfect photos to suit this layout.
  
LAYOUT 2:  MAN CAVE
There seems to be a very new image status lately with men.. that they have a "man cave".. LOL.. I know my hubby sure has one.. his little spot where he listens to music and relaxes.. This layout is dedicated to our men and their special "space".  If you dont' have suitable photos, no worries.. just use a different title.  Layout can be adjusted as to your photos.    Layout is created using Paper Loft's FUNKYSAURUS range of papers.. these are too adorable.  
I have also thrown in a card idea to make with the scraps.

OCTOBER "ADD ON" KIT - HALLOWEEN

As mentioned last month, our HALLOWEEN kit has been designed and if you plan to have a Halloween Party this year (or have tons of photos from Halloween past), then this kit is definitely for you !  

As we know that not everyone celebrates Halloween, we have only packed limited kits.  So if you are interested in adding this kit to your monthly order, please let Nutty M know ASAP as orders on a pre-booked/paid basis only.  Price is only R 150-00 for this double page kit.  Using My Minds Eye LOST AND FOUND HALLOWEEEN collection, the layout is full of glitter and fun !

OCTOBER 2012 KITS

LAYOUT 1:  SUN-SATIONAL

This layout has been created by our Guest Designer Elanie Maree.  Elanie is a dedicated scrapper who’s work is fantastic.   Using Fancy Pants – Wave Searcher range of papers, this layout is perfect for your beach / holiday photos.   It has space for 10 photos and in the bright yellows and reds, it is a fun and definite holiday layout to add to your collection.

LAYOUT 2:  CURIOSITY IS BETTER THAN KNOWLEDGE (Albert Einstein)

We just fell in love with this range of papers by Graphic 45 (Old Curiosity Shop), and had to create a layout that would showcase it perfectly.  Create a little shop and include any photos that show the wonder of curiosity, the possibilities are endless.   We know you are going to love this layout.

LAYOUT 1:  LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN

Let the Adventure begin with Bo Bunny's new range of papers - Camp-a-lot.

Hopefully you have an awesome distresser because this layout is calling for lots of distressing to give it a well worn and outdoorsy feel. 

There are other cut-out's available if this Title doesn't suit you, but you will still have lots of fun with flags, banners and creating a fun tree of leaves.

LAYOUT 2:  YOU ARE AMAZING

This fantastic new range from Echo Park (This and That Charming collection)  is just perfect for that “amazing man” in your life.   Whether it be your hubby, partner or your child.. this paper is sure to work well !

AUGUST Kits

LAYOUT 1:  HAPPY

Echo Park recently officially announced the launch of its new Sister Company.. called CARTA BELLA.  
The very first Carta Bella collection to be introduced is called Beautiful Moments and was designed by Carina Gardner.
So, in our pledge to bring you the latest papers and products we can find, we herewith bring you this month’s first  layout using this fantastic new range of papers.  
This layout is simply called Happy as it makes us so happy to share it with you !
With a mix of burgundy, creams, pinks and browns and suitable for any photo's capturing the things or people that make you happy, it has lots of room for photo's including pockets to either add some more pictures or hide some journaling.

LAYOUT 2:  NEVER STOP CHASING YOUR DREAMS

Who of us do not LOVE Basic Grey?
I remember a few years back when BASIC GREY was all the rage.. however with all the new wonderful lines popping up they seems to have taken a bit of a back seat in the industry.  
However.. when I saw this new range by BASIC GREY called Whats Up.. I just couldn’t resist buying it and designing a page with it.  
The hot air balloons are fantastic and I hope that you enjoy this layout as much as I did in creating it.  
In my normal style, there is a lot of cutting out to get the finished effect, (sorry girls)  but I am sure you will all agree it is so worth it !  
The title is self explanatory and can be used for a wide range of photos.  The colors also work well for both boy or girl photos.
